Product Overview

AMBSEP^™-BM Tablets combine Bilastine and Montelukast Sodium, two potent anti-allergic agents that provide effective and long-lasting relief from allergic rhinitis, asthma, and other allergic disorders. This bilayered formulation targets both histamine-mediated and leukotriene-mediated allergic responses, offering dual protection and improved patient compliance.

Composition (Each Bilayered Tablet Contains):

• Bilastine: 20 mg
• Montelukast Sodium: 10 mg

Mechanism of Action

• Bilastine: A selective H1-receptor antagonist that blocks the effects of histamine, providing relief from symptoms like sneezing, itching, and watery eyes without causing drowsiness.
• Montelukast Sodium: A leukotriene receptor antagonist that prevents airway inflammation and bronchoconstriction by blocking leukotriene action, improving breathing and reducing allergic inflammation.

Together, they provide comprehensive control over allergic symptoms affecting both upper and lower respiratory tracts.

Indications / Uses

AMBSEP^™-BM Tablets are indicated for the treatment of:

• Seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny or itchy nose)
• Chronic urticaria (hives)
• Allergic asthma and exercise-induced bronchoconstriction
• Nasal congestion and sinus allergies
• Allergic symptoms involving the eyes, nose, and throat

How to Use

• Take one tablet daily or as directed by your physician.
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
• Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
